Senior Managing Director - General Counsel
Betsy Allen provides oversight to the firm’s in-house legal team and provides advice and counsel to the company’s principals, department heads, and internal stakeholders regarding the acquisition, disposition, financing, and development of commercial real estate. Ms. Allen also directs the company’s compliance, risk management, corporate governance, and employment-related matters.
Prior to joining Friedman, Ms. Allen spent eight years working for a large commercial law firm in Detroit. She holds a JD degree from Washington University in St. Louis, Missouri, and a Bachelor of Arts from Rutgers University in New Brunswick, New Jersey.
