Farmington Hills, Michigan (March 10, 2023) – Friedman Real Estate, one of the nation’s leading owner/operators of commercial real estate, is pleased to announce that Betsy Allen has joined the company as General Counsel and Managing Director of Legal Services.
In her new role, Ms. Allen will oversee the firm’s in-house legal team and provide advice and counsel to the company’s principals, department heads and internal stakeholders regarding the acquisition, disposition, financing, and development of commercial real estate. Ms. Allen will also direct the company’s compliance, risk management, corporate governance, and employment-related matters.

Prior to joining Friedman, Ms. Allen spent eight years working for a large commercial law firm in Detroit. She holds a JD degree from Washington University in St. Louis, Missouri and a Bachelor of Arts from Rutgers University in New Brunswick, New Jersey.
